Who Benefits?
The Students of the Deer Creek School District.
Our district continues to grow at an incredible rate, and we continue to remain
one of the top districts in API scoring. In the Fall of 2007, we began contruction on a fourth elementary school, a high school addition, and began plans for a second middle school. Our continued growth makes fundraising more
critical than ever.
The money raised from this exciting event is prorated on a per student basis
and distributed to all five of the Deer Creek Schools. The proceeds from this
race have allowed the PTOs to purchase items such as SMART Boards for
classrooms, technology equipment, science materials and equipment, and a wide
variety of other resource materials for both classrooms and libraries. All of
these are important enhancements to our children’s education. Thanks to our
past sponsors and runners for making this race a growing success.
